My Story
During my senior year at UW-Madison, I began doing freelance videography for small companies in Madison, WI. Once I graduated, I was hired as a freelancer for Kellymoss, an automotive company in Madison. Soon after, they hired me onto the team full-time as a communications specialist. After my time with Kellymoss, I joined the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Medicaid Services which was a much more technical role. I love getting to flex my creative muscles, at work or otherwise. No matter where I'm working, I'm bound to bring positive energy, a collaborative attitude, and ideas to the table.

As a communications specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, I worked with a team to communicate benefits changes to Medicaid members. My day-to-day varied a lot, but a good chunk of my time was spent working on comms plans from inception to completion, writing website copy, and tracking analytics.
As Kellymoss's communication specialist, I filmed videos for TikTok, Instagram, created social media content calendars, tracked social media analytics, wrote press releases and newsletters, and helped out the administrative team with various tasks. In this role, I increased Kelly Moss's TikTok following by over 400% and gained them over 960,000 video views across both Instagram and Tik Tok.
Throughout my Junior and Senior year of college, I was a Communications Assistant at the Illuminating Discovery Hub. I primarily worked with their Science to Street Art Program - an initiative that creates murals in underserved areas of Madison. I managed their instagram, filmed and edited artist interviews, and even helped paint a mural during the summer of 2020.
I was a Research Assistant Intern over the summer of 2020 and throughout my senior year at UW - Madison. In this role, I helped plan for and run 300+ person international conferences. I also wrote copy for all of the lab's outward-facing assets and drafted Wikipedia pages on different types of software that the lab produces.
